The Voices of Value™ Summit
Data Advantage, LLC announced new information about the Voices of Value™ Summit, an extension of the Hospital Value Index™, the first and only national study on U.S. hospital value. The meeting will take place at the Westin Chicago River North in March 2010.
“We have established the Voices of Value™ Summit to celebrate those hospitals performing as models of care and to share best practices with practitioners in all areas of healthcare,” said Hal Andrews, CEO of Data Advantage. “The first event will largely focus on health reform and how hospitals can prepare for forthcoming reimbursement shifts and the initiatives that Best in Value™ hospitals undertook to achieve their performance.”
Data Advantage will host the Voices of Value™ Summit to facilitate the discussion and to discover and disseminate the best methods for delivering high value of care.

Voices of Value™ – Comments from Healthcare Leaders
As legislators consider health reform and as consumers shoulder an increasing burden of the cost of healthcare, it is important to recognize those hospitals that deliver outstanding value. With the recent release of the 2009-2010 Hospital Value Index™, a study conducted by Data Advantage, LLC, several healthcare leaders have spoken out on the importance of achieving and providing value in this new era. Many of the following will be expanding on their comments at the Voices of Value™ summit in December, where they will look to share and learn new practices.
